Update 0.4.5 - Campaign mode, mission objectives


The first version of Green Again's campaign mode is finally done! Separate missions or "zones" are now part of a world which handles campaign and story progression and you can also see a bird's eye view of the whole planet with your expanding settlements whenever you return to the world screen.


Currently there's still only one map that can be played (the town zone) where your task is to build a foothold by gathering enough population, placing decorations and expanding your settlement to capture some ancient tech buildings.

In future updates I'll add various zones with different goals and challenges, some of them can be finished in arbitrary order, others being prerequisites of unlocking further zones. The current system is quite flexible and eventually I'd like to achieve the generation of whole campaigns consisting of random zones.

Older saves are unfortunately not compatible with this release but I'm planning to keep compatibility of saved games in the future now that the world system is done.

Apart from the campaign features the game went through lots of tweaks and bugfixes so it should be more fun and less buggy. Upcoming updates are likely going to be more frequent again. Have fun!
